So lately I have been keeping myself busy. This morning after hitting my snooze button for the 10th time, I realized (yet again) how much of a sluggard I am . I am so thankful that we have such a merciful Father. Who in spite of our wretchedness chooses to love us. At church on Sunday nights, we are going through a new series called Blazing Fire, by John Piper. This past Sunday was our intro to the series. I am so excited about this study, the very first emphasis that we talked about was the Supremacy of God, its main goal, is to encourage us to have a proper view of God, and once we are more aware of who God actually is, it allow us to view ourselves as who we are...simply put sinners saved by grace. I love thinking about God's attributes, and lately that specific topic has been on the forfront of my mind. Well I need to get going...but more than likely i will update soon but until then....

  • So break has been great.  I have really enjoyed spending time with my family and friends here in Florida.  I first flew in on the 14th where my friend Ben picked me up in Orlando from there we drove down to Corral Springs, where my brother and sister-in-law live.  While i was there i was able to spend time with them and my new nephew, it was wonderful, , isnt he so cute Caleb!!! I stayed with them until Sunday the 18th, when Ben came back and picked me up, and then we headed up to Jacksvonille.  The next big event that took place was Christmas day, my brother Jason and his family came, as well as my sister Erin and her husband came.  We had a great time, celebrating our Saviours birth.this is the familymy mom made me a new scarf and matching hat for christmas, my mom is so talented. Christmas was a blast, i enjoyed it greatly.  The week following Christmas i spent with my family and went over to my friends house- TJ,Stacy and little Hannah.  While i was there some guy hit the side of my dads truck, although there was a little over $3000 worth of damage the event didnt ruin our visit.  It was a great opportunity for my dad and myself to respond in a godly way.  Praise the Lord for insurance.  That brings me to the new year, i spent the evening with Ben and some of his friends from church, we brought in the new year by waiving sparklers out in the street, and then going inside to watch the ball drop.  We concluded the evening aournd 3 after playing card games and a few board games.  It was an enjoyable way to bring in the new year.  Sunday i went to church, went out for sushi, then took Ben to the airport.  To end the first day of the new year i watch the Jaguars whip up on the Titans 40-13 what a great game!!!!  Cant wait to see how far my boys go this year.... maybe Super Bowl!!!  Well i am going to go make some lunch and probably head to the beach to get some rays.
